by Laurell K. Hamilton
Released |June 5th 2012 by Berkly|

When a fifteen-year-old girl is abducted by vampires, it’s up to U.S. Marshal Anita Blake to find her. And when she does, she’s faced with something she’s never seen before: a terrifyingly ordinary group of people—kids, grandparents, soccer moms—all recently turned and willing to die to avoid serving a master. And where there’s one martyr, there will be more…
But even vampires have monsters that they’re afraid of. And Anita is one of them…

I am starting to wish this series hurry and end. Not in a bad way, but the series is starting to drag out. I mean seriously, this is book #21! 3.5 stars to Kiss The Dead. The action was still there though AND the steamy romances :D

Anita Blake is still the same. The kickass vampire executioner with a ton of lovers. lol :) I still love Anita as a character. But I am starting to hate that fact that Jean-Claude is appearing less and less in these books. Jean-Claude is probably one of my favorite male characters in this series and for him to be in only one scene really pisses me off!

I still like all the shifter buds, but Anita, how the hell can you keep up with that many men? I lost count a long time ago. It's weird stuff.

The action was awesome and I loved the story line to this book. The detective work that goes on in this series is amazing! I have always been interested in things of that sort. My tv stays on the CSI's and Crimal minds and show like that. I love it :)

Overall, the book was okay. It wasn't one of the best in this series but it was okay! I need more Jean-Claude. OH, and I can't stand Asher. He is too whiny and gets on my nerves! You go Nathaniel for figuring him out!
